I am currently working as Research Scientist, Project Engineer, and Product Designer at KineticAI, Inc., and I am a member of the Cyber Security and Teaming Research (CSTAR) Laboratory at the University of Toledo, Ohio. 

Brief Bio: Dr. Praveen Damacharla, IEEE Senior Member and PMP Certified, obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KL College of Engineering, affiliated with Acharya Nagarjuna University, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Human-Machine Teaming from the University of Toledo (UT) in December 2018. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Damacharla has co-authored over 15 academic publications, including journal and conference papers, and holds a patent. He was recognized with the “Best Student Paper” award at the AHFE Conference in 2018 and received the “Outstanding TA” award from UT College of Engineering in 2015.

In 2016, Dr. Damacharla demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit as the Entrepreneurial Lead in a prestigious NSF I-Corps project team. Before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the ECE Department at Purdue University Northwest, Indiana, during 2018 and 2019. Subsequently, he co-founded KineticAI Inc. in 2019, an AI-focused service company based in Houston, TX, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Dr. Damacharla’s areas of expertise include industrial robotics, Industry 4.0, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and Human-Machine Teaming (HMT). His contributions extend to healthcare technologies, renewable energy, and unmanned ground/aerial vehicles, showcasing his versatility and impact across various technology domains.
